Follow these steps, if you want to pair your iPhone with BMW iDrive:

  1. Navigate to the “Settings” menu on iDrive
  2. Select the tab “Connections”, followed by “Bluetooth”
  3. Click “Add new device”
  4. On iPhone: go to “Settings” / “Bluetooth”
  5. Enable bluetooth and select BMW shown on screen
  6. Enter the six-digit passkey shown on your BMW’s display
